Plants that Clean the Air Inside Our Homes
You may think the air inside your home is clean, even safe.  But you would be mistaken.
You don't have to purchase a expensive air purifier though, how about a few houseplants?
Think about the way nature does it. Even though the air outside our homes is full of car
emissions and jet pollution, nature has a way of balancing out what we do to her. The
plants outside clean the air giving back oxygen. Infact NASA and the Associated Landscape Contractors of America did a two year study that confirmed that plants do indeed clean our air inside and out.

All plants will clean the air, but some are better at it than others. Here are some that not only clean the air, but are easy to grow:
  • Ivy especially English
  • Ferns
  • Peace lily
  • Spider Plants
  • Dracaenas, Lucky Bamboo isn't really a bamboo but a Dracaena
Course, for them to clean the air properly you will need one plant per 100 square feet.
Now doesn't that make you breathe easier?
